Our Lauren’s story…

Some of you will know, but many of you won’t, that in 2001, at the age of just 4, I was diagnosed with Leukaemia.

After 6 months of treatment on the amazing Piam Brown ward at Southampton Hospital, I was cancer free. But not only did they support me through my medical journey, they also supported me and my family in some many other ways.

It’s now my time to give back, show my appreciation, and try and raise a great amount of money to allow for others to gain the support and care they need from the ward.

Throughout the year, we will be taking part & hosting various fundraising events, many happening at the Strawberry Field Tavern, Locks Heath but also some a little further afield. First up, myself and some family members are taking on the Great South Run in October (those of you that know me, know running is definitely not my thing, but it’s for a great cause).

Keep an eye out for more information on our charity events, it would be great to see as many of you there as possible. We already have plans for a Family Fun Day, various music events & Breakfast with Santa.

My ultimate aim over this year is to raise £10,000 for this incredible charity.

Any donation is massively appreciated, so thank you so much in advance, it truly means the world to have your support, not just for me, but for all the future patients and their families of the Piam Brown Ward.

We can’t wait to share future fundraising updates with you!
